Takta , the electronic research and production company , was established in assistance with Thomson (France) in 1977, in order to support the radio and television requirements of the region .

   After the Great Islamic Revolution ,the company entered its operative phase and by supplying the needed professional broadcasting equipments , has extended excellent services to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (I.R.I.B) organization . Due to increasing local market demands and in order to provide technical requirements and reach self-sufficiency, the company has stepped up its activities by concluding several joint contracts with Iranian Telecommunication and other companies and organizations .

   Today , by considering the excellent position and collaboration of TAKTA with I.R.I.B and close co-operation with other companies and organizations, this company , besides being able to comply with the necessities of the country,is in the process of upgrading its technology and completing its previous researches in digital systems so as to produce advanced equipments for I.R.I.B.
